I am looking to play some DBA and/or Hordes of the things Sunday the 6th of Dec down at LLGC Riflemen. I will be there around opening.

For those who do not know these games they are small fast mini games. Each army is only 12 stands and the playing area is a 2ft X 2ft square.

DBA is historical and HoTT is more of a fantasy game. The neat thing about HoTT is no limit to the kinds of armies you can field. The rules are fairly general when it comes to building a force and just about any army can be used. I have even seen an army of rocks before.

There will be extra armies around so come by and check it out.

Buck is correct about the HOTT armies. The lists are simplified so that whatever concept you come up with it will fight into the list for making an army.

I have seen tv ninja armies, animal armies, tree armies, et.

I have an army based on Lord of the Rings with a Balrog as a "god". I also have an army based on the Authurian myths and a arabic army with a Genie for a god.

So anything you can think of will fit into the creation model, it is only limited by your imagination.

HOTT is a fantastic game and one of my favorites. You can even rebase your WHFB figs for HOTT and spend more time playing and less time looking crap up in the book!

As always, I will give anything a go. Just don't let me wife beat me up over it.

I have been wanting to try DBA or HotT for some time, but Sundays are really bad for me. I'm going to try to make it, but I can't make any promises.
