I'm not sure how many of you actually knew him, but I'm sure you'll remember seeing him around. He was a BIG guy.

He was at every Charcon, he liked to play the Magic Booster draft. He was in my 4E game for awhile.

He was a great guy to game with- competitive but good natured. He had a quick wit and a quirky sense of humor.

I hadn't seen him for awhile because his health had been a major issue the last year. I went to see him in the hospital thursday, but he was already in critical care in a coma. Then we got the call Friday that he had passed.

So spare a thought for Roy today while you're rolling your dice and playing your cards. He'd be here with us if he could.

We miss him badly.

Man, that stinks. He did make it to this years Charcon to play in the booster draft. We had to make special arrangements to get power to his oxygen machine. I know he looked to be in worse health this year than previous years.

Condolences to all who knew Roy.

That does stink. I only knew him from CharCon, but he seemed like a good guy. I will remember him from playing in a game of Dougs that my son played in and had a wonderful time. RIP Roy.

This really is a shame. I always could count on Roy to be in at least one of my games at the convention. I was really worried this year when I didn't see him at the table. The guy was everything a GM could ask for in a player. He was enthusiastic, a great role player, genuinely happy to be at a table, and most of all, Roy was fun. The kind of guy that everyone hopes to roll dice with. I'll definitely miss him. Our best wishes to his family.
