Default 4th ed X-crawl

so I was thinking about converting x-crawl to 4th ed. for those that dont know x-crawl its...

************************************************** **************
In Xcrawl, the players are superstar athletes taking their chances in a live-on-pay-per-view death sport. It’s a modern-day world with a fantasy twist, and the game is simple: the Dungeon Judge, or DJ, creates an artificial dungeon under controlled – but lethal – conditions. He designs the maze, and stocks it with monsters, secret doors, magical traps, treasure and prizes. The players must go through the dungeon and fulfill whatever conditions the DJ puts forth in order to win.

Xcrawl is a sport and the challenges are created, but the danger is no less real. If you die, you die. There are no second chances. Citizens of the North American Empire tune in every week to watch their favorite celebrities get eaten, paralyzed, turned to stone, and ripped apart. The nation’s hunger for blood and mayhem grows with every contest. How will you fare?
************************************************** **************

and 4th ed lends its self very well to x-crawl. One thing about x-crawl is the fact it is a timed dungeon of sorts. teams compete by running the dungeon and who ever has the fastest time wins the trophy....but all teams still win cash and fabulious prizes.

A dungeon crawl done in a day so daily powers would be very special and need to be used carefully, encounter powers are regained after 5 mintues of rest, and you have your basic attacks so all of those are pretty much done no converting there.

Action points, second wind and healing surges are a bit iffy. because the game has "Mojo" points which is a pool that the characters can pull from for extra numbers on their dice roll...I.E. the pool goes upto 12, a player can take 2 from the pool and add it to their roll, a nat 20 means no points are spent and they still get the +2, a nat 1 means double the points are spent....I am having a problem because all of them combined could be overkill and make things too easy for the team. I dont know because mojo pool goes up and down durring a run so i dont know....I was thinking about droping mojo but i dont know....ill have to try it out to be for sure....

I've heard rumor after rumor that they (Goodman Games) were going to give X-Crawl the 4e treatment. I wish they would bring it back. It was a brilliant idea for a game!

I have checked the goodman game forums, and they flip flop, one post says yes they are, another says no its going to be 3.5, but what ever is comming out is due 2011....I loved the idea for the game, Monty Hall meets dungeon crawl
