    Default danzig corridor?

I posted here a while ago about looking for players in the ashland / huntington area. Still havent had much luck finding a group to play miniature wargaming with close by. Would love to be able to make it up to Charleston on a weekly basis, but my schedule doesnt really permit

Anyways, before when I was looking for players, I was told by multiple people to check out the shop Danzig Corridor here in Ashland. I have tried to call the place, drove by the shop at least once or twice a week, and still it looks like the place has been abandoned. There is still terrain and whatnot in the window, so it isnt completely empty, but for the most part it doesnt look like a place that could conduct any sort of business. Just wondering if any of you guys who are "in the know", have any idea if the place is closed for good or what.

    Thanks Travis!

Last I heard thy mainly played Warmachine there at the shop, I dont play Warmachine, but I would be willing to give it a go if it meant I would have people in the area to game with. I have currently converted a very large room in my basement as a gaming room, I have a couple 8 x 4 tables to play on and whatnot, but just cant seem to find people who are interested in gaming.

I know people are out there, just seems like it is impossible to find em here in the area lol.

I don't know anything about Ashland, but if there's a college, you could always go there and put up flyers. There are always gamers in colleges, and they often need a place to play.

Thats actualy a really good idea!

Think I might make up some flyers, and post them at the local community college. I could also maybe post them at the Hobbytown USA in south point, and maybe even Marshal University in Huntington.

Huntington has a store or two that does Warhammer mini's. Many of them may have other wargames.

From what I understand there are 2 shops in Huntington. One is Hometown Hobbies, and I think they can order whatever warhammer stuff you want, but from what I understand they are more of a place to play RPGs & card games that wargames. I dont think they have tables and terrain, or nights where people show up and play. The other place is Hobby Exchange, I went there a couple times but again, they dont have a place to play or anything, and the stock they keep is very limited. While those locations would be good places to maybe put up a flyer or a contact info sheet, I dont think they are places where groups of guys show up to play on a regular basis.

I talked with Gary from Danzig Corridor today, he said they had closed for the winter months while doing some repairs and remodeling, but expect they will return to regular hours later this month.

Glad they are still around. Gary and Adam helped form me into a well rounded gamer and gave me a great place to hang out. hope everything is going well for them.
