a couple questions

Ok, first time here so bare with me.
Is there a schedule of game events avalable?
are there going to be any Herosystem/ champions games ran?
Can people start pickup games?

Hey, I bet I've exchanged e-mails with you before. You wanted me to review Hero system.

To answer one of your questions, I think last year there was plenty of space for pickup games. Was just a matter of finding people.

We are taking events right now. We have not posted the catalog as of yet because the game registation just opened.

I will see if we can get a date when the event registration will go live.

I will have the event coordinator post here to see if anyone has submitted ay of those games.

We will have open gaming tables for people to use.

We like to have them ahead of time so that we can let other con attendees know they are available.

I'm trying to learn the system well enough to start my own game in P-burg. In a few weeks I will start getting it organized.

Heya Hero. As Nick said we just started taking event submissions. Once we have them all together we will publish teh catalog & people who pre-reg for the con will be able to pre-register for those events. If there are no Hero games being run, you can try to get some folks together for an open game... we have space for that at the con. I would highly recommend if you are interested in one, you submit to run one! Be a good way to get in touch with other folks who are interested in Supers games!

Hero,

Welcome to the CharCon forums! While there is not an event catalog available at the moment, rest assured there will be one available before the convention. We have just started to receive official event submissions although we have many verbal commitments from game masters for each of the main types of gaming.

I'll contact our RPG coodinator concerning Hero System/Champion style games and one of us will respond here. Keep in mind, if we don't currently have one in the pipe that doesn't mean we won't have one by the time the convention rolls around.

As for pick-up games, not a problem!

Glad to have you on the boards!
As of yet, I haven't had any submissions for Hero or Champions though I'm actively recruiting. Especially for Champions. It was a huge hit at GenCon and garnered quite a bit of attention. If you know of anyone interested in running a game of either, please have them contact me from our staff page.
