    Default CharCon Raffle

**EDIT-READ IF YOU ARE A RAFFLE WINNER STILL WAITING FOR YOUR PRIZE**

First, sorry for the delay in getting you your well deserved goodies. Each year I am forced to take a short sabbatical from CharCon business immediately following the show. Preparing for and running the show takes up so much of my time, that I literally have to catch up for a while on both those things and on my sanity!

This year it has seemed to run a little longer than what I would have liked. Pair that up with some obstacles in my personal life (the pinnacle being a fire we had at our house recently) and things have just been crazy.

So, back to getting everyone their loot!

December 13 10AM to 5PM (not this Saturday, but the following) is the next Kanawha Riflemen Games Day at the SC library. I am planning to be there with all the raffle prizes. Those of you who are available should plan to attend, claim your prize and stick around to play some other games. We are also planning to have some door prizes for everyone who attends this game day, so even if you didn't win, come on out. You may win something else and if not at the very least you can play some cool games and have fun!

After the Games Day, anyone who did not claim their prize will be hearing from us so that we can meet you, deliver it, ship it, etc.

Hope to see lots of you come out on Saturday December 13 to claim prizes, play games and have fun.

    TR

Below is a list of the items that were in this years CharCon Raffle and the name/ticket number of the winners. Any item with a * has not yet been claimed. If you are one of these folks...DONT PANIC! We will be working to contact you and make arrangements to meet you or get you your item(s).

Congrats to everyone who won something, big thanks teveryone who provided something for the raffle and a huge thanks to everyone who purchased tickets (which is a huge way of supporting the Con)!!!

If this looks like a lot of stuff, that is because it was!! I didn't realize just how much until I was typing it. Egads!!!

I also want to thank all of the people that donated and purchased and organized and counted and had anything to do with the raffle. It is one of the coolest things we do at CharCon. Congratulations to all the winners.

One thing that Travis didn't say is that most of these items were donated or part of vendors/sponsors payment to CharCon. One of the ways that you can support CharCon is to visit those web sites of sponsors/vendors/companies that had stuff in the raffle and mention that you saw their products at CharCon. It cost you nothing but gives us a great boost in "potential" goodies for next year's raffle.

I would like to point out that the best way to et more goodies, is to bring more people with you to Charcon!!! The more people at the con equates to more sales at the vendors' boothes, which in turn allows the vendors more abillity financially and more reason to give more to the con. Bringing more people to the con is the #1 way to boost everything about the convention, from the quality of events to size of prizes, from con specials and sales to the entire future of the gaming community as a whole.

I know myself and my Morgantown-friend Amanda (who won the Slugfest pack) won't be able to attend the games day because of the holiday.
