Looking at coming to Charcon this year and could run either....

2 hour Hollow Earth Expiditions (rpg) Wilderness Kids in the Haunted House -
A group of scouts stranded by a broken radiotor... venture up the road to the spooky old house where their scout master went for help.

4 Hour Hollow Earth Expiditions (rpg)- Blood on the Amazon- Searching the Amzononian rainforest for a lost city and missing expedition.

2 Hour minis game- Distroy ALL Monsters- 6 player godzilla monster slam using 3 inch high Kaiju Gashapon figures.

2 Hour minis Game- Tank Attack - 20mm tank fight using Battleground WWII rules

Which do you think would go over best?

I ran the BFG last year and probably will not this year so feel free to run all the BFG you want. I am working on a couple of Battlestar Galactica games to run for this year.

Maye also some WW2 Air combat for Check Your 6.

For the new people looking to run some games try and get an idea of what people want to play and then put together an idea for that game.

Try and line some players up ahead of time on here so you know you will have players.

Remember you have 3 days to run games this year.

Registering onsite is always an option. However, in the coming weeks, we will have pre-registration open here on this site, where you can register in advance and just pick up your tickets at the door. Last year had the added bonus that everyone who pre-registered received a free game. Score! Rumor has it that will happen again this year...

    Looking forward to the Convention!
We certainly look forward to having youat CharCon this year! From this list it looks like you should feel right at home in the board game area of the convention. Each year the Appalachian Gamers share a good number of games from our collections. If you go on BGG and check the CharCon guild out you can review our collections to see if there is anything we have that may be of interest to you.

Also you may want to follow CharCon on Twitter as we often send out information on the games we have played and you may see something of interest there as well. Feel free to bring any games you would like and either run them as official games or play whenever you want as there is plenty of space for open gaming.

We will also be running our board game tournament this year, more details to come.
