I don't know all of the rules for 40K so if someone could help me over the internet or at a local hobby store or something that would be awesome

well I would be glad to help you as much as I can on here. I also go to a couple of the local WV stores. Which one are you near?
Lavalette is near Huntington so I guess Treasure's is probably closest for him. Unless someone is playing in Huntington.

there is actually a place up near there that plays... it is a atv shop i think. The owner came down to Lost Legion with a bunch of he players from there that have been coming down on a regular basis
If you are in Lavalette and close to Huntington, here are a few choices.
Danzig Corridor is open in Ashland. They have a nice place to play and they do play 40K. I am sure you can get Gary or one of the other guys there to help you out.
Hometown Hobbies is in Huntington. I know they carry or used to carry Warmachine, but I am not sure about 40K.
Both of these stores are CharCon vendors, so you can also catch them, along with others at the show in October.
There is also Hobby Exchange in Huntington. I hear she has begun carrying 40K stuff and has a growing group of players. We hope to get Hobby Exchange to attend CharCon soon.
That is all I know of for close stores. Hope that helps.

Hometown Hobbies might carry basic 40k books, but it has no miniatures. I remember that Under Siege Games before then had some 40k novels and other books.
As of two weeks ago, Hobby Exchange has only 1 Space Marine Rhino miniature for sale, as well as some old Second edition 40k rulebooks; many of which I have already bought. I know of no 40k players at either location.
Danzig Corridor has lots of 40k stuff, including books and miniatures, so I would go there, except they're only open on Wednesday and Friday nights or something.
Come on down to Lost Legion in Beckley. At least come down for our monthly tournament. It's a long drive but you are sure to have a blast all day. We have several people who drive down from Huntington for it. Maybe you could carpool with them.
hey rouguetrader can you give me some info on the monthly tournaments at lost legion? id like to start coming down there and get involved in those. Any info would be appreciated
Our next 40K tournament at Lost Legion Games & Comics is Sat, Aug. 8th at noon. It is up on the calendar now. If you need any more information just let me know.
Hey, I am going to use my age as an excuse to lecture everyone.
Lost Legion Games & Comics and 9th Life are by far the #1 user of the calendar on the left side of this page. (Good job!) They post everything happening at their stores. I just want to remind folks that the calendar is there for your use. Some of you may never have seen it. It is a great tool. Post events! Read the calendar!
OK, back to helping Vaughn learn to play 40K. (Where is he btw?)
