Thumbs up How to use this forum (PLEASE READ)

This forum has been added by the request of the users. We hope it grows to be a place everyone can come to to swap things with other local gamers. Please follow the guidelines below. Thanks!

    What this forum is for:

This forum is for local gamers (individuals, not businesses) to post notice of items that they:
    • Have and are looking to trade
    • Have and are looking to sell
    • Want and are looking to trade for

What this forum is NOT for:

This forum is not for businesses to post notice of items they have available, specials they are having, sales they are having or any other sort of commercial business. In other words, if you do this for a living or make an income off of selling things, do not post that here. If you do, it will be deleted and you will get a nastygram.

With that said, all game store owners/employees have personal collections, so they are welcome to engage in trading of their own personal items via this forum. Please limit this to trading only and not cash transactions.

    How to use this forum

So, you got some stuff and you would like to trade it for, well, some other stuff. How do you go about that?

First, create a new post. The title of this post should indicate what item it is you have for trade.

Say you have a Warhammer 40K Ork Army you want to trade. Create a new thread that says: "Have for Trade: 40K Ork Army". Then, within the thread, list the different pieces you have with the army.

If you have a collection of things, then the title should say something like: "Have for Trade: Collection of old D&D books" or "Have for Trade: Lots of comics" and then you can list the detail in the thread.

Below that, create a list of things you are looking for in return for your item. Something like:

    Want in return:
    -Paintball Gear
    -Magic the Gathering
    -Undead Warhammer Fantasy Army

If you are only willing to accept the things you listed, just say so. If you are open to other offers, just say so.

If you are willing to accept cash, just include it on your list. Please refrain from listing a specific amount of cash. You can negotiate that with potential traders via PM or Email. Please do not use this forum for that.

If you want to offer a service, like say painting miniatures in trade, feel free.

So, you got something you want, don't want to buy it and are hoping to trade for it. What do you do?

Well, pretty much the reverse of above. Simply make a post with a title like this:

"Want in Trade: Laptop" Or "Want in Trade: 40K Models"

Then list some details on what you are looking for in the message. If you have some ideas on what you might be willing to trade, it won't hurt to list that as well.

Just to repeat what was said above. PLEASE follow these guidelines.

    Thanks!

Just a quick clarification on making offers. Feel free to discuss an item or make offers for it within the thread. The only exception is discussing cash offers. If you plan to make a cash offer, you may just want to reply with something like "PM Sent" and then send the person a PM to discuss your offer.

Other than that, feel free to discuss and make offers all day long!
