What a day!
Two successful sessions. Thanks to everyone who played!
I really appreciate everyone who came out- especially my players who showed up to fill any vacancies I might have had but instead helped me run the monsters. It was good training for when they start running their own games.
We may not have won any converts (time will tell), but we got some newbies to try it and that was our goal. Those of you who wanted to try it but didn't get to, there'll be three opportunities at Charcon and Weekend in the Realms on November 7th at The Rifleman. See you there!

Well converts would be great and all, but it's a success if people come to the game store, play some games, and have fun doing it . I just want everyone who comes in to have a good time, enjoy the games, and enjoy the company you're playing with. If it converts new players to a game we're selling, all the better toward keeping the lights on, but nobody has to be a complete convert to continue to play the game when the chance allows. So I wouldn't rule out seeing the demo players show back for some games even if they aren't in love with the game. Back to what I started with, play some games!, and have fun doing it!!! If you had 2 packed sessions, that's a win! Thanks for running it and thanks to everyone who tried it out.
Thanks Doug for running the session, it was really nice to finally get to try out the system and see how it works in action!
Thanks Emily. It was a pleasure gaming with you and I hope we get the chance to do it again sometime.
I know Doug gives his all to run the games and being a DM is hard work. I appreciate his enthusiasm. We are lucky to have him do this.
How about a critique of the system? What do the newbies think of 4E? What did you like? dislike? A little idea of your RPG background would help, too.

It was very fun, playing Tower the Artificer was a delightful challenge. and the gray dwarves I used the second game put up a good challenge for the heroes, and I'd say that the Hoard scarab larva swarm was a nice surprise for them I must say!
-has played 3.5 D&D, NWN2, RP Nazi on Battle.net (Warcraft 3), Currently playing Call of Chathulu, can now say that I have played a game of 4E
