Default Dresden Files

I'm pretty excited that this game is coming out at Origins, so I thought I'd share the link. http://www.dresdenfilesrpg.com/

They posted a preview .pdf of a sample city.

Ok, the people who are publishing this are amazing. Here's the deal if you pre-pay for this book through us we will be able to have the .pdf for you the same weekend as Origins by CD or if you want to wait a week or two for them to get it done through their store then you can download directly to your pc. This great deal actually applies to all their products so if your interested let any of our LLGC locations know!

The game uses a modified version of FATE, which is the engine in Spirit of the Century (one of my favorite RPGs). The guys and gals at Evil Hat do excellent work, so this is a book I'm really looking forward to.

Lemme point you toward a review I did of Spirit of the Century:

That said, Dresden will be much more real-world in terms of damage and firearms and human limitations. If you've not read the books, I would recommend them. They are a nice mix of arcane and noir.

Evil Hat has gone ahead and released the .pdf version of The Dresden Files RPG. It is still missing a little art and a short story. You can get access to the .pdf's by pre-paying for the books now. The books are scheduled to be released in June, at which time you will be able to get an updated .pdf with the missing content. So if your interested just go to your favorite LLGC and bring jump drive. If you don't have a jump drive contact your store manager for the ability to transfer the file or have it burned to a CD, store computers vary.

We have access to all of the .pdf's they produce, so if your interested in any of their products just let us know.

This is a great company! They are putting a whole lot of trust in the consumers, and retailers to do this. Anyone caught sharing the .pdf illegally will face the consequences....
